You ever get in a rut? You’re frustrated because you aren’t where you think you should be? You haven’t accomplished a certain goal yet?
It’s interesting as to why this happens. One of the reasons that came to mind is being able to acknowledge the small victories. When you become too focused on the big goal, you can lose site of the journey to that bigger destination. Along that journey come smaller wins.
It is a MUST to be more aware and acknowledge those smaller W’s in your mind. Harp on them. By becoming obsessed with mastering the little things on a day to day basis, you start stacking up these chips everyday.
These chips aren’t seen by others. They’re not really flashy.
But this way of framing grows your confidence because your mind/body/spirit KNOW for a definitive fact that you have been putting in the work, which makes you worthy of the success you’re going after.
When you look in the mirror you know that person deserves what they want.
The greatness is within the details. How detailed are you within the details? Do you hold yourself to a high standard? Or do you let yourself cope out when there’s no one around? The latter is hard to look in the mirror and respect. That version of you isn’t the best and will not accomplish what you want deep inside of you.
Point is, focus on your wins. Become obsessed with them. Harp on them. And create more victories for yourself.
You cannot lose when you’re constantly winning.
Which version will you choose?
